How to get there

By car

From the A4 highway Venezia – Mestre exit, follow the signs for Venice and cross the Libertà Bridge to Piazzale Roma *. Leave your car at the ASM Town Garage or a the San Marco Garage (partnered with the Venice Hotel Association offering 10 - 20% discounts for A La Locanda di Orsaria guests).

By train

From the Santa Lucia train station, head left towards the Ponte degli Scalzi but do not cross it. Instead, turn left down Calle Priuli dei Cavaletti where you will find the hotel at number 103.

By plane

There are many ways to reach the city from the Venice ’Marco Polo’ international airport:
- the ATVO line direct ‘Fly Bus’ which takes twenty minutes to reach Piazzale Roma *
- ACTV public bus nr. 5 (about a 25/30 minute ride to Piazzale Roma)
- ground taxi
- water taxi to the train station
If you're arriving at the Treviso ‘Canova’ airport, Piazzale Roma is about an hour away on the shuttle bus that leaves every half hour.

 

* Our inn is a five minute walk from Piazzale Roma: cross the new Calatrava or della Costituzione bridge that connects Piazzale Roma to the Santa Lucia train station and then turn left on Calle Priuli dei Cavaletti where you will find our hotel. You can also take the ferry from Piazzale Roma getting off at the first stop, the station stop (2-minute ride)
